Koson ("we," "our," or "us") provides a decision companion app for users who want a calm way to choose between options, build plans, use wheel, draw, and card experiences, manage coins, use AI suggestions, and personalize their profile. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, why it is used, how it is protected, and what choices you have when using the Koson mobile application (the "App").
By using Koson, you confirm that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these practices, please stop using the App.
1. Age Requirement
Koson is intended for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly request personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that information from a person under 18 has been provided to us, we will take reasonable steps to remove it.

2. Information We May Collect
2.1 Information You Enter
- Profile details: nickname, avatar, short bio, and other profile information you choose to edit.
- Decision content: plan names, wheel options, draw labels, card choices, saved plans, history records, and result notes created in the App.
- AI prompts: text, questions, options, selected style, category, or other prompt context that you choose to submit to AI features.
- Voice and media selections: avatar images, selected photos, and voice memo content that you choose to add to your profile or plans.
- Feedback and reports: messages, issue descriptions, report reasons, and support details submitted from in-app forms.
- Purchase-related status: coin balance, unlocked feature status, and App Store receipt information used to unlock paid content. We do not receive your credit card or banking details.
2.2 Information Generated During Use
- Usage activity: interactions with decision tools, template categories, AI prompts, coins, and settings.
- Device context: device type, operating system version, app version, language preference, and general diagnostic signals used to keep the App stable.
- Network state: connection status required for support pages, policy pages, AI responses, and purchase verification.
2.3 Device Permissions
Koson may ask for permission only when a feature needs it. You can allow or deny permissions in iOS Settings.
- Camera: used when you take a new avatar or attach an image to your profile experience.
- Photo Library: used when you pick an existing image for your avatar or visual profile setup. Koson accesses only items you select.
- Microphone: used when you record a voice memo or short spoken profile note.
- Network Access: used to open policy pages, support pages, AI chat, and App Store purchase flows.
3. AI Features and Third-Party Processing
Koson may offer optional AI features, including AI Chat, AI Power Pack, prompt suggestions, decision analysis, and generated planning guidance. These features may use DeepSeek AI, a third-party AI service, to process your request and return a response.
When you use an AI feature, the following information may be sent to DeepSeek or related AI processing infrastructure over an encrypted connection:
- The text, questions, choices, or options you submit to the AI feature.
- Prompt context needed to generate a useful response, such as selected category, style, mode, or preference.
- Basic technical request metadata needed to deliver the response, such as request timing and network delivery information.
Koson does not intentionally send your name, account identifier, precise location, payment information, contact list, photo library, microphone recordings, or unrelated device information to DeepSeek for AI response generation.
AI responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential information, financial account details, medical information, legal information, passwords, or private information about other people into AI prompts.
AI features are optional. Before AI Chat or similar features are used, Koson may show an AI data sharing consent notice. You may decline that notice and avoid AI features. You can also stop using AI features at any time.
4. In-App Purchases and Coins
Koson may offer optional coin packs, premium templates, skins, sound packs, or AI-related enhancements. Purchases are handled by Apple's App Store system.
- We do not collect or store payment card numbers, bank account information, or payment credentials.
- Apple manages billing, refunds, subscriptions where applicable, and transaction security.
- Receipt data may be checked to confirm that coin packs or premium items should be enabled.
- Unlocked items are associated with your App state so they can remain available inside Koson.
5. How We Use Information
- To provide wheel, draw, card, template, AI, profile, coin, and history features.
- To remember your settings, saved plans, unlocked items, and account state.
- To process support requests, bug reports, user reports, and feedback.
- To improve performance, app layout, reliability, and feature quality.
- To prevent abuse, enforce safety rules, investigate suspicious behavior, and protect users.
- To comply with legal, tax, platform, and regulatory requirements.
6. User Content and Safety Rules
Koson allows users to create decision text, profile content, AI prompts, feedback, reports, and optional media. You are responsible for content you create or submit. Do not create, upload, share, or request content that:
- Contains explicit sexual material, nudity, exploitation, or adult service promotion.
- Shows graphic violence, gore, self-harm encouragement, or shocking injury content.
- Promotes betting, gambling, wagering, casinos, or money-based games of chance.
- Encourages illegal drugs, unsafe substance abuse, or unauthorized drug sales.
- Contains political manipulation, extremist propaganda, or deceptive political misinformation.
- Targets people with hate, harassment, threats, bullying, slurs, or discriminatory abuse.
- Violates intellectual property rights or includes spam, phishing, malware, impersonation, or private information about others.
We may review reports, restrict features, remove submitted content, suspend accounts, or report unlawful activity when appropriate.
7. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information only in limited situations:
- Service support: vendors that help operate app features, support, analytics, AI processing, or purchase verification, under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, legal process, public authorities, or to protect rights and safety.
- Business changes: if Koson is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer.
- Your direction: when you ask us to share information or give clear permission.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or loss. These safeguards may include encrypted transmission, restricted access, secure development practices, and review of security risks. No electronic service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please use strong device protection and keep account access private.
9. Retention
Information is kept only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, unless law requires a longer period. Account-related data may be retained while your account is active. Decision plans, history, AI prompt interactions, media selections, and reports may remain until you delete them, delete your account, or ask for assistance where available. Purchase records may be retained as required for financial, fraud-prevention, or platform compliance purposes.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, export, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, including device permissions and optional AI data sharing where applicable. To make a request, email privacy@kosonpen.com. 11. GDPR Information
For users in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on legal bases such as consent, contractual necessity, legitimate interests, and legal obligations. If personal information is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.
12. California Privacy Notice
California residents may have rights to know, access, delete, correct, and limit certain uses of personal information. Koson does not sell personal information. To exercise California privacy rights, contact us using the email below.
13. Your Controls
- You can manage camera, photo, microphone, and notification permissions through iOS Settings.
- You can edit profile information, plans, history, and settings from within the App.
- You can sign out or request account deletion through the settings area.
- You can avoid optional AI, purchase, profile media, or voice features if you do not want to use them.
14. Third-Party Services
Koson may open web pages, App Store purchase flows, analytics services, advertising measurement services, or AI-powered features that depend on third-party infrastructure. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before using third-party services.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect feature, operational, legal, or security changes. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date will be revised. Continued use of Koson after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
